DG Facet Tools
Faceting tools are used to carve flat, geometric planes or textured flutes into the side of a pot. Usually consisting of a handle holding a taut wire (such as a cheese cutter or a twisted, "wiggle" wire), they allow artists to create something different from the traditional, round shapes created on a potter's wheel.
