Flecks + Specks - Pineapple

The Flecks + Specks owners are both ceramic artists who work with porcelain and love bright colors. Frustrated by the “sand” color of manufactured grogs, they developed a grog recipe that allows bright grog colors at all ceramic firings temperatures. Flecks + Specks Grog adds color, texture, and durability to all types of clay. Flecks + Specks Grog is available in an ever-changing palette of colors and five sizes suitable for any method of working with clay

Flecks + Specks can be added to any temperature of firing up to Cone 10. Beyond that, colors will start to fade. Test the colors first before using them in reduction firings. Some of the colors will change in reduction firings

All colors of Flecks + Specks Grog are food safe when glazed with a food safe glaze. The grog is also microwave, and dishwasher safe.
